As-Needed Electrical Engineering Services

Project Summary

The Goleta Water District (District) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide as-needed electrical engineering and instrumentation/controls services. These services include but are not limited to evaluating power needs, availability, and quality; preparing design plans and specifications for backup generators sizes and connections, new electrical service and upgrades to existing services, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives; evaluating existing electrical facilities for code compliance and worker safety; documenting changes to electrical systems; performing field inspections; and providing owner’s representative technical review services and construction administration.

As-Needed Geotechnical Engineering and Related Services

Project Summary

The Goleta Water District (District) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide as-needed geotechnical engineering and related services. These services include but are not limited to geotechnical engineering investigations and feasibility studies; geologic evaluations, mapping, slope stability studies, and seismic fault location studies; development of design criteria for earth retention, foundations, pipelines, site development, and pavement; concrete and pavement failure investigations; and construction observation and special inspection.
