Dear Agricultural Water User:

At a meeting on May 24^th, the Finance Committee will consider making a recommendation to the Board of Directors to give formal public notice for membership on a Citizen’s Rate Study Committee. Membership will be solicited through an application process.  The focus of the proposed Committee is expected to be on urban water users, the water conservation rate structure, and a general review of all water rates including agricultural rates.

At a meeting on May 26^th, the Board of Directors will consider the issue, and the Finance Committee recommendations, if any.

It is anticipated that the size, composition and specific scope of the Citizen’s Rate Study Committee will be determined at a later date.
